Social responsibility

Sedlecký kaolin a. s. look after its employees and also sees to improve the lives of citizens of the regions, where it operates.

We support various activities for children and young people, make material donations for the restoration of monuments and sports facilities. Moreover, we approach carefully the people who need help. Also, we participate in an active manner in cultural, social and sports enjoyment of the residents of the region of Karlovy Vary.

The company Sedlecký kaolin a. s. pays considerable attention to improving its employment policies. The areas of the highest priority are education and social policies.

In the field of education, we are involving our employees in retraining, language courses and other activities through which we are aiming at developing their further potential. The social policy is also focused on former employees. It reflects our gratitude for their job well done.

In January of 2007, our company has initiated the execution of a project under the auspices of the Operational Program called “Human Resources Development” which is co-financed by the state budget of the Czech Republic and the European Social Fund, in full support on the part of the Job Center in Karlovy Vary. The project is centered on enhancing the competitive strength of the company and increasing the adaptability of its employees to changes in the economic and technological conditions. The subject matter of the program is, first and foremost, educational products – seminars, workshops and various courses. The aim is to create a motivating working environment that would support employee’s growth and would secure stability and development of the company Sedlecký kaolin a. s. on a long-term basis
